The Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) marked its 15th anniversary with an exciting finale at the Rixos Hotel in Dubrovnik, featuring competitors from over 45 countries. Hauke Walter from Germany emerged victorious, smoking a Rocky Patel Mareva cigar for an impressive 2 hours and 52 minutes, securing his third title and making history as the first to have his name on the trophy three times. With fierce competition, Poland's Borys Szkodziak claimed second place, finishing at 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 17 seconds. A critical moment occurred when Anastasia Arsenova faced a penalty for her daring approach, which pushed her to fifth place. The podium concluded with Walter's win, Szkodziak in second, and Dejan Pažin from Slovenia in third. CSWC founder Marko Bilic got emotional with the event's achievements and the passion of the participants, highlighting 2024's grand final as a significant milestone for the championship.
