OLIVA SERIE G TASTING AT CIGAR CLUB MAREVA SPLIT

The Oliva G Series tasting evening at the Mareva Split club brought us a special guest - Mr. Alen Kosanović, director of Camelot, Croatian importer of Oliva cigars, and owner of the first Havana cigar store in Croatia, which celebrates more than 30 years of history.

The cigar of the evening, or, let's put it this way, the star of the evening, was the Oliva G Series Churchill - a beautiful cigar, long vitola, which delivers all the beauty and complexity of the Oliva G Series cigars. Serie G is a medium body blend made with an authentic African-Cameroon wrapper. The unique flavor notes of this wrapper are complemented by the natural richness of the Nicaraguan Sun Grown fillers. The Serie G is a cigar with notes of cedar and coffee making it an excellent balance of smoke and flavor. Wrapper – Cameroon | Binder – Nicaragua | Filler – Nicaragua.

The pairing was done with an interesting brand of whiskey - Readbreast single pot still Irish whiskey aged for 12 years, which truly beautifully accompanied this long journey of the Oliva G Series cigar flavors, and together they provided true harmony to all members of the evening. A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly rated and it is the winner of 12 spirit awards.
