From Belgium with Brotherhood

This past week, Club Mareva had the distinct pleasure of hosting two very special guests from Belgium – Marco Pareijn, the reigning Belgian CSWC Champion, and Steven Wouters, owner/designer of Ciguerilla apparel brand, 3rd positioned at CSWC Belgium 2023. What followed was more than just a visit – it was a shared experience, a celebration of friendship, and a reminder of what makes Club Mareva truly unique.

From unforgettable nights in the club, filled with laughter, deep conversations, and clouds of fine cigar smoke, to blind tasting sessions that sparked spirited debates and sharpened palates, the atmosphere was electric with camaraderie and discovery.

But the experience didn’t stop there — a journey continued into the Croatian mountainside, where they visited a hidden gem: a centuries-old fireplace tucked away in timeless nature, echoing with history and stories.

Later, in one of the region’s famous mountain restaurants, they savored authentic Croatian lamb, perfectly prepared and shared in great company — a moment that embodied the Mareva spirit of quality, tradition, and togetherness.

Marco and Steven proved to be not only incredible guests but also wonderful human beings, full of warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity. Over just a few days, they became more than visitors — they became part of the Mareva family. Their open hearts and shared passion forged new friendships with our members, bonds we know will last for years to come.
